Configuring Time Tracking Settings

JetTime provides flexible options to customize time tracking settings, ensuring they align with your team’s workflows and requirements. These options improve control over how time is tracked and logged.

How to Configure Time Tracking Settings

  1. Access Time Tracking Settings: In the JetTime app, navigate to Settings > Time Tracking.
  2. Modify Preferences: Adjust the following options as per your requirements:
    • Allow Only One Active Timer: Restrict users to have only one timer running at a time.
    • Require Work Log Description: Ensure a description is mandatory when logging work.
    • Require Work Log Account: Enforce assigning work logs to accounts for tracking purposes.
  3. Save Your Changes: Click the Save Settings button to apply your changes.

Additional Tips

  • Changes apply globally and impact all users in your Jira instance.
  • The “Save Settings” button will only appear after making changes.
